I had the same problem with a laptop lcd until I realised that choosing the appropriate modeline will solve that. Try using the little gtf command line app to determine the right one, put it in xorg.conf and zap X. Maybe that helps? Greets, Karsten On 1/2/07, Sebastian Ferrara [EMAIL
