I'm on ~amd64. Updated portage in the morning. But it seems the .38 version has a nasty bug. It freezes the system every single time I try to compile a cross tool chain. I tried with various options, like reducing make jobs, etc, but didn't help. Back to .31 and things seem to be moving better.
