Hi All, I've run MS Windows update on a dual boot box which has a Realtek (RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ rev 10) card. I thought that the update just updated the driver on MS Windows, but I fear it may have messed up the firmware. I say this because when I boot in Linux either the 8139too module

Hi Mike, I don't know if this helps but I have a Realtek 8169 in my box and if I hibernate windows and then boot up gentoo my card isn't working. If I boot windows again and shut it down (not hibernate) and then boot up gentoo again the card is working. it seems that windows reserves the card
