Hello everybody,
At the end of a successful emerge --sync I was advised
to update portage. It didn't say but I assumed it
meant emerge update portage, which is what I did --
so far so good. But the manual only gives update
system or world, no portage.
Is emerge update portage the same thing as
If you have run emerge world, portage would be automatically updated together with other packages.
