I am running the xorg-server-1.6, to which I just upgraded, and kernel 2.6.27-gentoo-r8, and I am having an issue with the server crashing whenever I try to drag the scroll bar within Mathematica - which never happened to me before with previous xorg-servers, and I use Mathematica extensively.

I see. Well, I am running nvidia-drivers-180.60, and versions 185 and 190 are masked by ~x86. Same for the xorg-server-1.6.4. So the only thing I could do really is to update the kernel... But xorg-server-1.5 was perfectly stable for me, so I don't see how kernel upgrade would be helpful here,
