[gentoo-user] Generic kernel: hardware and loading the right modules

relevant modules? Maybe I'm expecting too much, maybe I'm confusing device drivers with the genericity of what a module is, maybe I haven't read the right man pages or googled the right keywords. I would just really like someone to give me a clear explanation :-) Thanks in advance, Kobboi

which implies it may be a config option somewhere. Its possible it can be fixed by deleting the .gnome stuff, but I dont want to do this unless I have to ... BillK No need to delete .gnome to find out: create a new user and log in with that one. Kobboi
