Hi all! i am running Gentoo in a Dell Inspiron 1420, using XFS as fs for /
and /home, ext2 for /boot, leaving 40 Gb for other things (probably a lvm
to run vms).
I am thinking if i will get better performance mounting /var/tmp/ and/or
/usr/portage in other partition.

Knerworkmanager is in packages.keyboards and
also =libnl-1.0_pre6-r1.
Maybe this is my problem, I'm not sure, because i don't have internet access

Hi! i need to include a file in squid.conf because i need to divide
the squid.conf file in two parts and export one of this to other
servers...how can i do this? This included file will contain all the cal and

I have a ebuild for WICD, taken from bugzilla i don't know hot to install
it. man portage says emerge /path/to/ebuild is depracated. I have to make my
own overlay to put there custom ebuild? which is the better way to install
local ebuild's?

I get many info lines in the tty1 every time i start NM, the same happend
if i add NM service at boot time. I don't like all that output, with a
simple Network manager starting [OK] is enough, which i see in the terminal
when i manually start the service is ok.
What can i do to avoid this?
