I have gnome-utils-2..12.2 installed...so I launched the gnome floppy formatter application and then when I wanted to close the application by clicking the Close buttons, nothing happened so I had to click to the x on the right top of the window to force quit application. I lauched gfloppy

Hi This is certainly because you haven't loaded your network card driver at boot time. Be sure you have entered your driver name ( I am not sure maybe it's 8029too) at file /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.6. You can use nano text editor to edit the file... Cheers cApTaiN_FaNtAsTiK

[gentoo-user] Xscreensaver issue

Hi I have Xscreensaver 4.22 installed and the thing I find strange is that when a regular user locked the screen and then I tried to unlock the screen with root password, it does not work, with the previous versions this worked. is There a way to fix this please? Thanks a lot
