You were probably using mozplugger to play all this files, its a plugin that can handle most mplayer file types with mozilla firefox, you can emerge it (or redo it) (emerge mozplugger). Then if all goes right you'll be able to play mid, wav, mpg, avi and all at mozilla. If you're not willing to

I can't seem to get my mozilla to play MIDI files embedded in web pages. I don't understand why. Before my reinstall (about a week ago) mozilla knew how to play .mid files. Now it doesn't. I have a sound card with hardware MIDI support and support for it is compiled into the kernel I'm running,
