Portage keeps packages up to date. This is nice, but it makes things painful when trying to bookmark local documentation on my hard drive. E.g. it goes from /usr/share/doc/imagemagick-6.2.9.5/html/blahblahblah to /usr/share/doc/imagemagick-6.3.0.5/html/blahblahblah
ImageMagick is just one example. Gimp is another. Is there a way to set up stable bookmarks for local docs? -- Walter Dnes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> In linux /sbin/init is Job #1 My musings on technology and security at http://techsec.blog.ca -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
