I have in my .tcshrc file: (that is symbolically linked to by .tcsh.config and .cshrc)
alias ls 'ls -a -l --color=auto' alias du 'du -h --max-depth=1' But when I log in, all I can see is one blue dot, but everything is there. If I type in "bash" all the files suddenly appear. Argg, I'm tearing out my hair. O'Reilly's "Csh and Tcsh" book has been no help, neither have been the man page. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Rob. -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
