[gentoo-user] python-2.4 is it safe to unmerge it ?

I'm using a Python-2.5 based system since a year now.
(currently python-2.5.1-r3)

I've run python-updater and revdep-rebuild.

Is it safe to unmerge python-2.4.3-r1 (in my case)?
