Hello Alan, thanks for the reply. I tried to compile it "external" and it worked after i deactivated the gui (--disable-gui). So i removed the gnome USE flag and was able to install it. Disabling the sandbox feature didn't lead to success. Thanks a lot for your help! cu Max On Sun, 2008-03-2
