May be Andrea can shed some light on that.
Ok, now I found it, it is configurable via the feature type and not from the
layer part of the API
(which is a bit confusing as on the web GUI you configure that in the layers
section).

Just set a transform in geographic coordinates, and GeoServer

Robert,
Excited by the news of the stable release today, I though I would give 2.2
stable a try. unfortunately tomcat6 rejects it and delete the war after a

geoserver folder!!
Not clear what happens here.

Hi,
GML coordinates tend to include commas
gml:coordinates0,0 100,0 100,100 0,100 0,0/gml:coordinates
In addition, you are using WFS 1.1.0 which defaults to GML3 which considers
coordinates as deprecated. Is is not strictly forbidden, I believe, but it
would be better not to mix GML2 and GML3

Thanks for your swift reply!
The GML dialects were mixed up simply due to my ignorance. I started with a WFS

Working with a Linux CentOS 6 machine here.
I attempted to upgrade from version 2.1.3 to 2.2 today using the WAR

It started fine the first time but the geoserver_data_directory wasn't
defined so only the 'default' layers that come with geoserver were present.
I edited the web.xml
