Hi Christian, Sibylle and Francesco
I wrote that tutorial on the Location Defra site some time ago. Christian is
right it only gets you 98% of the way there.
I briefly tried the nightly build last Thursday and some of the additional

Hi Joan
I guess the simplest way to know if you are using the cache is to look at where
your URL string is pointing
if its http://localhost:8080/geoserver/wms then it is just hitting the standard
WMS service
If you have pointed your application to
http://localhost:8080/geoserver/gwc/service

Hi All
It seems my holiday has turned my brain to mush and I just cannot understand
why I am getting this error
I use GWC to cache layers and have done for sometime using the same
geowebcache.xml for well over a year
I have just upgraded to 2.1.2 and have changed the web.xml to point to D:\til

Hi
My current role at OS is to support any INSPIRE data publishers who

After sponsoring the upgrade from WMS 1.1 to WMS 1.3.0 and also the

Hi GS Users
As standard any layer you deploy is queryable - as seen in the
getcapabilities document
Is there a way to turn this off in the UI?
There seems to be nothing in the documentation and have done the
obligatory google search but found no answer.
Any ideas
Thanks
Hi GS Users
I have been searching this afternoon and cannot seem to find a solution.
I would like to restrict the GetMap format options, ie remove KML and

Is there a way within the UI or do I have to amend an XML document
within the geoserver directory
Thanks
Tim
This
against alot of the documentation and posts I saw on the bench
marking.

Hi All
After several weeks of reading many posts/blogs/and documents I think I have
gone as far as i can to improve the performance of my WMS of OS Vector Map

I am trying to setup a suitable JMeter work bench to test my GeoServer
