Hi Paul, this smells like a result of the JTS upgrade, unfortunately GeoServer is using an old version of mapfish (with no funds in sight to upgrade to the latest, I'm afraid, I've been told it's not an easy switch). My guess is that you might get that to work by dropping an older version of JTS
