Lilac babies are lighter than adults and will darken with age, the last one I
had continued to darken until about 4 months of age. On the other side I have
had doves lighten with age, and had a dove that lightened to the point (about
2 years old) that if you were across the room you would guess
False alarm. Hope *is* pregnant. First I thought she was, then I
thought she wasn't, and now I KNOW she is. I didn't hold her for
a while because I wasn't at home or I had someone over, so when I
held her today I got a surprise. She's the biggest I've ever seen
Congrats. Hope your little
*g* Whoopsie might work, but THC was my old name for my old clan, and I'd
feel pretty bad if I changed it right now. But how about Whoopsie be Hope
Hero's last name? That'll work :)
And yeah, it's after the band Hanson. I haven't said anything since probably
many people on here would disagree

What I said is that you do not nee a health certificate to bring gerbils
into the US from Canada. I have no idea is you have to have one to bring
them from the US into Canada. That may very well be a different story.
The reason that I mentioned this is because someone had stated that you
I think that you will all agree that if Paige is going to rename her clan,
she should name if after me, The Molly Morris Clan. ;)-something I learned

Is there a problem placing gerbils tanks, with breeding pairs, right next
to each other on the same shelf? The long side of the tanks would be next
to each other.

I have had a few problems that I could only attribute to one
pair being able to see another pair. To solve, I cut some
I have 3 female and 1 male black pups available.
They were born on 6/10/00.
I've determined their genes down to aaCchEeG*Ppspsp (50% Gg, 50% GG)in
case anyone wants to check out possible pairings on the gerbil gene
predictor, which you can find linked through the NGS website.
Their mom is a
I am looking pictures of pups (birth through two weeks) of the following

maybe others. if you could just visit it now that would be great. the url

Hi1 Thanks for the clarification. It was a bit late last night when I
Hi,
Thank you everybody, my gerbil (Bianca), seems to have stopped drinking so much, and
I check and her water bottle was fine, so I think she was just really thirsty or
something. And we do live in a relatively dry climate (Manitoba, Canada), so I guess
that it was just really dry that
Little Foot a black male and Mom aqouti have four babbies all seem to be
black eyed. Please Add them to the gerbil count

Hope had 6 babies on July 17th. Sadly one was stillborn. The
names are Peanut Butter (named by my friend!), Lee, Alex Jr.
(stillborn), Lou, Laine and Leslie. The theme is that all the
names have L in them, with the exeption of PB. Please add to the
pup count! Parents are Hope and Hero.

There are two answers to this health certificate, since I brought in gerbils
from the UK they have dropped the health certificates for rodents. There is a
catch though, you can bring in rodents as pets without documentation but
importation into the US for sale (commercial use) is a different
A pied lilac and pied nutmeg can have a ruby eyed white but not a pink eyed
white, a pink eyed white is --ppchchG-E- in order for yours to produce one
the lilac pied (aappCCG-E-Spsp) would have to be a dove pied aappCchG-E-Spsp
and the nutmeg pied would have to be aaP-CchG-E-Spsp so both could

1.) Can a Pied Lilac and a Pied Nutmeg have a REW/PEW pup?
You can get white gerbils from these colours.
2.) I can't tell if one of my pups is a Lilac color or REW/PEW. How can I
tell because I know Lilac is a really light color?
Lilac is a dark colour.
I have to get rid of my sweet gerbils because I do not have enough room my
parents hate rodents. I live in Valdosta, GA. Could ship. Please adopt these
cute little guys so I won't have to sell them to a pet store. They are very
friendly and will not bite unless provoled.
Here is what I have:
Ok, after a week of being out of town, I finally realize how much mail I
get from the GML! My question is, what genes would my adult pair ( a
female pied agutie, and a black male) have to bear an agutie and two
albino (either PEW or REW) babies. All three babies are female and about
one month

My female is laying on her side. I know she is pregnant. How long will it be
before she gives birth?

Thank all for the info. It turns out with the new littler I might just
wait to see if them is a male and put the younger one with him or even the
dad when they are ready. Is this a good idea. A baby with an adult.
Did I mention that I love you guys!!! You are such a great help
Hi,
I am introducing a 7 week old Dove pied male pup to about a 4 -5 week old
sapphire female pup. I thought being so young they may be able to get along
Ok but the male started fighing with the female, chasing her and they did the
curling up in a ball thing. Now I have them in a split tank
Hope, in total, had *6* babies. I went upstairs after that birth
announcement and saw that the nest seemed a bit more filled than
it did before :) The pups names are Peanut Butter, Lee, Lou,

I've never had any problems keeping tanks next to each other. I have my
tanks side by side, not end to end. I have tanks of
My main pair are very tame and friendly, will climb onto my hand
and never run away when I put my hand on the cage. But something
I've noticed, with other pairs also, is that if I walk past the
cage or turn around on my bed so it squeaks, the gerbils fly over
to a corner and hide under something.
