Hello All, My five pups opened their eyes yesterday. They will be three weeks tomorrow. I was planning on weaning them away from Mom when they were 5 weeks and then a week after that putting them off into their own same sex tanks. Anyway, I picked up my pair and the female was already pregnant

The pups were 2 weeks old as of yesterday. I can see them in their nest as it is right up against the glass of the tank. My question is whether it will be safe to dig the pups out and handle them or will Mom Dad get really upset? I would like to start getting them socialized. Thank you Joe

I use empty paper towel and toilet tissue rolls for my gerbils to chew on. Is it safe to give them other cardboard such as empty cereal boxes or anything else as long as their are no staples huge amounts of glue? I thought I read somewhere in a post today that cereal boxes and macaroni and cheese
