Can you give dust baths too often? I have found that if I give my gerbils a
dust bath everyday, it can make their coats less shiny. Is this because it
takes away too much natural oil?
Thanks,
Victoria
The buck certainly looks like an Ivory Cream. He is almost white in colour
but has a very creamy sheen to his coat. I have looked at the colour pallet
and this is the picture that looks like him most.
The doe I was told is either a Pearl, a Light Colourpoint Agouti or a Polar
Fox. She is white
Hello!
I would like to buy my gerbil a wheel, but I know that these can de
dangerous unless covered. What do you usually cover the outside of a wheel
with??
Thanks,
Victoria
I am positive she is a LCP Agouti. She has had four litters and all have
been Golden Agouti. I recently bred her son (Golden Agouti) back to her to
see what would come out and I got four Golden Agouti babies and three LCP
Agouti. Does this sound about right??
Thanks in advance,
Victoria
What sort of things do you give your gerbils to chew? I usually give my
gerbs plain paper, cardboard and toilet roll tubes. I have in the past give
them printed things but I have found this aggravates their noses.

Hi Jenn,
Thanks for your reply, I am going to try and get some wood for my gerbs
tomorrow. I am sure they'll love it!
Thanks for the idea.

Hi!
I would love to chat with some fellow gerbil breeders/keepers and as there
are no gerbil chats scheduled at the moment, I thought it would be a good
idea for everyone to post their MSN or AIM messenger names. My MSN is
