Sorry to hear of what happened to your pup. You do not say how long ago
this happened. If the pup was not drinking because of pain etc. Any
problems after that, unless there is some sort of infection
. What should I do!!??

The vet where I used to live once told me that aluminum staples seem to
work better for small animals than sutures. They tend to not chew on
them so much. Perhaps your vet would be willing to put staples in
instead of sutures if you took him back? I've had surgeries done twice
