The warning about the ffmpeg version needs to be eliminated. The ffmpeg binary shipped with GiP x64 for Windows 7 yields:- ffmpeg version 4.2.3 Copyright (c) 2000-2020 the FFmpeg developers built with gcc 9.3.1 (GCC) 20200523 If that checks out then, for completeness it would be worth checking

You shouldn't need to make any changes to the path. The batch file get_iplayer.cmd works out the folder it's being run from, and then temporarily changes PATH to include perl\bin and utils\bin underneath that folder. Can you check that your batch file looks like this: @echo off setlocal set
