  For example, login as root, and issue these commands:

        mount /mnt/cdrom
        cd /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS
        rpm --install inetd-0.16-4.rpm

  If you've got X11 up and running, there are various GUI front-ends to RPM
available.  "gnorpm" and "kpackage" are two that come with Red Hat 6.2.  You
can run the commands directly, or find them on the menus of your desktop
environment of choice (typically under "System" or "Utility" categories).

  I often find it easier to simply install everything, rather then trying to
select just what I need right then.  This uses more disk space, and certainly
puts a *lot* of files on the system, but it does mean that if your distro
supports it, it will be available.  (In particular, "man -k" does not work if
the package is not installed!)
