To all GNHLUG mailing list subscribers: All GNHLUG mailing lists have been moved to the new server, and should be in fully-working order at this point. Please report any problems to me.
If anyone had their mail preferences set for digests, post-only, etc., those preferences will have been reset to their defaults. You will need to re-set your preferences. You can do so by going to http://mail.gnhlug.org and finding the list you want to change. The mailing lists are now hosted on GNHLUG's own dedicated server. Before today, they had always been hosted on a third-party machine. Originally, it was a machine in the ZK3 facility of DEC. More recently, they were hosted by Codemeta, courtesy of Bruce Dawson. The server operators subjected themselves to spam, abuse and complaints for years, and they deserve our thanks. Thanks, guys! Co-location for the new server is generously donated by MV Communications of Manchester, NH (http://www.mv.com). We're getting power, IP feed, rackspace, A/C, UPS, and ping monitoring. MV rocks. If you're in need of Internet service that actually meets the definition of "service", definitely check them out.
