The link for this item below just popped up on a public forum for the Linspire distribution of Linux <http://www.linspire.com>.

Note that the price tag for this apparently obsolete version is low enough to entice lots of folks to purchase it for evaluation or strictly personal purposes. As such, Win4Lin plus an easy to install and use distro like Linspire might be just what an old Window$ user needs to 'change horses in mid-stream.' Indeed, I particularly like the idea that the marketing experts at Linspire and Netraverse can cook up a very appealing 'package deal!' :-(

Linspire folks must note that Win4Lin 5.5.18 is available through our peculiar CNB warehouse at $89.99 (Member's Price $69.99). I don't see Win4Lin Home Edition on Linspire's CNR/CNB, thus interested Linspire folks will just have to nag both Linspire and Netraverse to make the necessary arrangements.

Note that I run Win4lin 5.1 quite successfully on my Linspire 4.5 powered laptop on those occasions when there is 'just no substitute' for Window$. But because of my growing 'paranoia', I try to avoid running that nasty stuff 'online.' Accordingly my experience with Win4lin is limited, but I'll gladly discuss that experience with anybody that is so interested!
