Get a friend to do an nmap of your site to see what's open. Unplug your
firewall

2) Are you sure you want to be using bootp and/or dhcp on the same
subnet
as your ISP? How would your client host even get an IP? It's pretty
unlikely -- unless your ISP is pretty generous -- that you've got
multiple

well, i was having similar problems when i forcefully upgraded gtk2-2.0
to gtk2-2.2 to install a new version of gaim. however, the next time
around i let ximian do it and it worked fine. i bet it
