My involvement with GNOME a11y has always been done without my
professional hat on. However, I feel like putting it on just for a
moment so that I can say a huge THANK YOU! on behalf of the Carroll
Center for the Blind to the entire GNOME a11y community. Lots of great

My time is a bit more limited than in the past, for reviewing email,
etc. However I would be honored to be part of the Committee in a 'less
than central' role. I'd try and stay out of the way of the movers and
shakers, but would be happy to lend suggestions on request.

The responses I've seen so far on this topic has been like a who's who of
the Gnome A11Y community!
I would like to raise a tentative hand to join as a user, as I agree that
without the input of the actual users, how would you know if the direction
you were to take was the right one.
I suggest seeking representation for alternative input issues.
