Beach Boys Majorda beat Happy Boys Kattem Velsao 1-0 to lay hands on 1st All Goa 7- A-Side Beach Football Tournament organised by Mix Boyz of Velsao, at Velsao Beach, today. Both the teams began on promising note. Happy Boys Kattem enjoyed slight edge in the opening session. Remmy of Kattem tested the Majorda goalkeeper with powerful volley. In the counter move Joy Ferrao's volley hit the side post when the goalkeeper completly beaten. The 1st half ended 0-0. Changing over, Majorda kept the momentum going & soon Joy scored to give Majorda the lead. Midway in the second half Majorda put up a better display & created many openings inside the rival teritory & Pango to the mercy of Kattem goalkeeper shoot straight to him. Mickey Pacheco, ex-Tourism Minister was the chief Guest, & Minguel Rodriguese was the Guest of Honor.
