Salgaocar won the GFA U-16 Tournament held at Tilak Grounds, Vasco on
February 26, 2010.

In the finals Salgaocar Under-16 beat Orlim FC by 5-0.
The goal fest was begun by Trunard Fernandes, Brendon Fernandes, Sheldon
Fernandes and Mervin Borges.
Brendon scored the brace in the finals.
Chief Guest for the finals, Karim Bencherifa, Salgaocar SC coach praised
the boys and believes these junior boys will make it big one day.
Coached by Agustine Antao and Manager Anthony Noronha, this is the same
set of boys who won the Under-15 Manchester Cup in 2009 and represented
the country as Salgaocar Under-15 at Manchester United, England.
