RANCHI: Talasha Prabhu has long promised to put Goa on the national aquatics map. Her exploits at the National Games here have helped her cause and more. The 17-year-old bagged two gold medals at the Games unprecedented for any athlete of the state and that, on debut Talasha grabbed gold in the 100m freestyle event here on Saturday, adding to the 50m freestyle gold, two silver (200m and 400m freestyle) and a bronze in the 50m butterfly. "It's my first National Games and it couldn't have ended on a better note, she said. It was also the first time I was lining up alongside Richa, a swimmer I admire so much. We competed together in six events here and I was able to win the gold in two," she added.
