There is all possibility that the draft Regional Plan 2021 will be out any moment as the crisis within GBA was fore seen by some of us as part of the masterplan in order to blunt the opposition just before this plan is out. The betrayal was expected by many of us goans. The people of Goa have to gear up to resist the RP 2021 which is expected to be nothing better than a repackaged RP 2011 by the very same builder and real estate mafia. Mere cosmetic changes like freezing hillslopes and Khazan lands definitely cannot be the solution to the goan people's issues of land, water, livelihood and culture. What are the planned policies of the government? The people of Goa definitely need to know. Development and Planning Rules, amendments to the Panchayat Raj Act and other TCP amendments will now be simultaneously carried out to confuse the people and divert their attention from RP 2021. This RP 2021 will have all the potentiality for a final assault on the ecology and the people of Goa. There will not be space kept for a Goa after 2021. WATCH OUT GOANS!
