For an article I am writing I need to watch the movie Konkani movie
"Boglant". Can someone tell me where I can buy/rent a copy on VCD/DVD?
The original songs are legally available along with the songs from
"Sukhachem Sopon" (RPG-Sare Gama - Rs. 199/-). One person tells me
that the 'rights' to the movies Boglant, Nirmonn and Amchem Noxib
belong to Jerome Mendes of Lenora's Restaurant in Verna. Is this true?
On the Boglant audio CD is written "Compiled by Felix Correia".

Also I remember hearing somewhere that Alfred Rose composed all eight
songs and accompanying music for Boglant in just one day. Does anyone
know more about this?

Cheers!

Cecil

Alfred Rose must be the most prolific of Konknni ?cantarists?
(singers.) He wrote/sang so
many songs that he lost count of them. No chronicler can fix the
number of ?cantaram? he
penned. He set most of them to music himself, sang a few hundred, solo
or in duet with wife
Rita, or others. Most, however, were sung by other artistes.
