Paulo Colaco Dias reports on Goa-Goans and elsewhere that a Socialists (PS) win in Portugal could see a Goan role in the new government. He writes: "RTP1, the main Portuguese Television channel has just interviewed Member of European Parliament Dr Antonio Costa, son of the Goan writer Orlando da Costa, who, according to the Portuguese media, is expected be invited by Socrates to interrupt his European mandate, return to Portugal and be part of the new Portuguese Government in a senior ministerial position. Antonio Costa had been Law Minister in the previous Socialist party of Prime Minister Eng. Antonio Guterres and is likely to occupy the same position in the new Portuguese Government elected today (confirmation pending). Please note: The predictions are from the Portuguese media.
