I am mulling about in my mind how to go about creating a chart like

The bars are straightforward, it's the lines with dots on them that
are troubling me. Is it possible to do with Google Chart? I'd take
even the line or possibly just the dot if possible...
Does anyone know how to just use the normal 'dot' for Google Map Pin
Icons?
The API gives a description here:

but I don't see an option to use the default 'dot' for the image
