I am new to using the Google Charts API, so I have probably missed a
trick. I am trying to find a way of creating smooth lines between node
points rather than having sharp angels (wave effect opposed to saw
tooth).
Is there a way to achieve this? If so how?

Ao far as I know, you can't.
However, you can add more data points to make it appear smoother.
Or you can use matlab/scilab, maybe openoffice or something to
generate interpolated data points first.
But it would certainly be cool to have internal smooth curve
support.
