URL encoding in Gmail breaks static graphic from API

Hi all, I want to embed a chat into an email, and the standard Chart URL works in both Hotmail and Yahoo Mail, but in Gmail the URL gets encoded ( | , ) all get escaped, and then the chart breaks. Any idea how to URL encode a Charts API static image so that the parameters aren't lost to the API?

Hi, I'm not sure if you're referring to URLs that you add and Gmail turns into links or inline images. Links/URLs work fine for me in Gmail. I couldn't figure out how to add an inline image at first, but found the following tool which works nicely:
