This is unfair imo, I'm not a Mozilla employee, but I am a addon
ambassador and a amo editor,
Bump for a Firefox 4.0b1 comparable version of Greasemonkey. Should be
pretty trivial to implement.

Have you checked greasemonkey-dev? It's being worked on; one of the
important things is integration with the new extension manager, already
partly done. Probably 0.9 will be 4.0.*-compatible when released, which
will hopefully be within a few months.
But yes, I second the interest; GM is one
