There use to be two anti-golf course groups in Asia, one in Japan. I don't
know if they are still in existance. Does anyone know?

Volunteer Tour at White Earth Indian Reservation
A volunteer tour to White Earth Indian Reservation will take place
September 5-12. Global Citizens Network is offering this intimate group
program to people who want to contribute to a local
unique tip you may have (eco-friendly tourist destination,
experience, food, etc).
I hope to compile a nice list of eco-friendly places to stay and post it
here.
Cheers!

Did you review the results of the International Indigenous Sustainable
Tourism Certification online conference (from 2004)? They were
available in English, Spanish and Nepali. If so, it would be helpful
to learn how the recommendations were included in the work of this
group/initiative.

Thanks for your advice,

I'm seeking information about fair trade tourism - new programs,
research, organizations involved, etc. I'm researching for a new
journal on fair trade.

I like this topic, Ron. Thanks for bringing it up and posting your
Powerpoint.
Here is a PowerPoint I did for the AIANTA conference last fall, Telling
Our Stories In New Mediums: Tourism, Internet, Radio, Video about Ojibwe
wild rice in northern Minnesota.
