The gprocess perl script in the contrib directory of the source code
pulls name, annotation, reference, and office-part header items from the
gabc file and generates a main-tex-file with them. Perhaps you can
use that or mold it to your purpose?

Dear Gregorians,
while working with gregorio I wonder if there is a more elegant way to
handle my worklfow.
I experienced that my main-tex-file stays more or less the same but
unfortunately I have to
built one for every gabc I build.
Is there an option to hand-over some parameters (like
