-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all!
The Distributed Systems Group (GDTE-Developers) at the University of Marburg has the pleasure to announce the release of the new Version 1.3.0 of the Globus Incubator Project GDTE. The release can be easily installed using the Eclipse update mechanism (Update site: http://mage.uni-marburg.de/eclipse). Installation instructions, tutorials, downloads and documentation can be found at: http://mage.uni-marburg.de/gdt and http://dev.globus.org/wiki/Incubator/GDTE If you have any questions or problems, feel free to send a mail to one of our mailing lists. For all who are not familiar with GDTE: The Grid Development Tools for Eclipse (GDTE) feature is a bundle of Eclipse Plugins useful for Service and Application Development in the Eclipse Integrated Development Environment for the Globus Toolkit 4. Apart from using GDT in the Eclipse Workbench interactively we support using Eclipse headless, i.e. running the GDT tools as commandline tools, offering the possibility to include them in automated build scripts. Tutorials are available online and if you install the GDT feature, there's also Help available in your Eclipse workbench, describing more details about the use of the GDT. Whats new in this version? We added File Persistence for Resources, load and store EPRs at the client and client and resource security descriptor creation. The Tutorials and Help-Pages are now shown context sensitive on the wizard pages. We corrected some flaws in primitive and base type handling for GridAttributes. Added support for the usage of EndpointReferenceType and other types known by globus XSDs. We fixed several bugs. Added several tutorials, one related to Grid Service debugging. And a Debugging-Package additional to this tutorial. Additionally we released a slim headless version for integration into other IDEs like Netbeans. Packages for several platforms are available for download.
