Sound very exciting.
Congratulations on the great work that continues to be done on Guile.
Best wishes,

What a lovely email summarizing, at the very least, exactly how I feel
about Guile and its community. Belatedly, congrats on the appointment!

Hello,
Pjotr over on guix-devel has proposed we organise a Guile developer
track at the next FOSDEM (January 2016). There seems to be a pretty
good reception on the guix mailing lists, and we're still looking for
ideas for talks, etc. If you'd be interested in giving a talk, check
out
+1 for your thoughts too Chris!

Hello,
Guile has a dev room at FOSDEM this year — for a whole day! The dev
room will be on Sunday.
Whilst organising it, we had the idea that it would be fun to have a
Guile/Guix user & dev dinner on the Saturday evening. I'm hereby
officially opening registration for that :-D
I have not

Hello,
In December Aleix proposed the following patch to address an issue in
guile.m4 whereby guile programs using the autotools infrastructure would
not find guile and other tools on distributions such as Ubuntu:

Guile-Hall,
Hi Mike,
Thanks for taking the time to test, and for the background info. I hadn't
considered the bug tracker!
I'll see if we can get it in there :)
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Mike,
Great to see you organise to continue this hallowed tradition! :-)
I would love to participate by cheating a little and submitting a new
release of Guile Hall, which is overdue and should happen between 1 and
6 March.
Best wishes,
Alex
