        Feast of St. Francis Xavier Celebrated In Abu Dhabi            By Claude  Fernandes, Mangalorean.Com Team UAE    Abu Dhabi Dec 3: The Konkani Speaking community of Abu Dhabi celebrated the Feast of St. Francis  Xavier at St. Josephs Cathedral today.       Rev. Fr. V.J Menezes, Fr. Antony Lopez and  the entire konkani speaking community of Abu Dhabi celebrated the Feast day of the Great Saint after a week's  retreat held in the church premises.  There was a Eucharistic celebration (Festache Mees)  at 7.30 p.m. inside the premises of St. Joseph's Cathedral.      Rev. Fr. V.J Menezes's retreat must have created a deep impact on the minds of the people and thus the word spread far and wide.  This is the first time in the history of Abu Dhabi, devotees of St. Francis  Xavier gathered in large numbers.  Around 1200 - 1500 people gathered and expressed their love, gratitude and devotion  for St. Francis Xavier.  A statue of St. Francis  Xavier
