In prepping for another project I was rummaging through the stash and
came across a length of chocolate brown cotton velveteen. It's a
lovely color, but not one that I would not wear. Every time I have
put brown on I take one look at myself and change to something else,

a slight hint of red to the color but not a significant amount. I've
thought of trying a blue to see if it would go burgundy or such. Any

and the years have not been kind to her, but Camille has spent the
summer dressed appropriately in a 1908 white lawn and lace insertion
dress that I suspect was made by the National Cloak and Suit Company.

The CNAC thing is a party in 2 weeks. It's a reunion for the (mostly)
Chinese American teams that worked in the Pacific theater before the
US joined WWII. People from other nationalities were involved, too.
