Hi,
I am getting the same problem on the Linux stations in the farm.
The problem has appeared before for a while, then stopped and started again
about a week before Pesach.
Haven't managed to solve the problem but if anyone finds a solution it would
greatly help me too.

this.
P.S. Does anyone in the Technion outside CS can confirm this problem?
Or

Hi,
Software freedom day is coming up and I've noticed there are no teams in
Israel.
Are there any plans to start one?

There are 3 days left for registering and getting the free goodies.
Dave.
Hey,
I'm interested too.

Hey all,
As part of my job at Sun I organized a lecture tomorrow at Taub.
The covered topics are listed below and at http://sun.vzwar.com/
The lecturers are OpenSolaris developers that came to Israel especially for
this series of lectures.
You are all invited.
As stated below, the lecture will
There's also a bug report attached to the idea, but the response to the bug
report was that it's only a niche user base that has this problem, thats
where brainstorm comes to try to help.

I believe instaparties are still needed, just with more focus on post

I suggest focusing on installing all the cool packages that are needed but

I would also suggest posting a one page Linux for windows users guide on
every station like the ones I posted on the Linux stations in the main farm.
A simple orientation of where everything is in Linux.
I believe I gave Tzafrir the original document which can be edited.

I strongly agree with Dotan here,
Every single task a Linux user (user, not administrator) or even a
programmer will ever want to do, he can do it using GUI alone.
I believe that the perception that every Linux user needs to know how to use
the command line if he wants to use Linux is an archaic
