            The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------

Hardball airs tonight and every weeknight at 7, 11, & 4 am et...4, 8, & 1 am pt...If
you miss any episode, tune in Sunday afternoon from 1-6 pm et and we'll re-air the
whole week!

Very hectic day around here yesterday...I swore I had The Briefing all set to go then
we had a Jacko Attack and reworked the whole show...Hope you enjoyed it...We'll do
more of that tonight but throw in a lot on gay marriage as well...

Btw, what do you think? Should there be a constitutional amendment to ban gay
marriage? Send your reply to mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "Briefing question" in
the subject line...If you have any comments about the Briefing or Chris throw those in
there as well...But keep it short...Chris and I will try to read as many as possible...

Fans of Vanity Fair and true crime stories will dig the fact that we're leading with
Dominick Dunne...His bio and credits are too numerous to list: Hollywood writer,
author, Vanity Fair diarist, Court TV host, etc...He also wrote a great book "Justice"
in which he describes the ordeal of his daughter Dominique's murder and subsequent
trial...She was an aspiring actress and starred in the hit movie "Poltergeist"...The
killer got off which is why Dominick has so assiduously pursued and tracked other
murder cases in the search for justice..He'll give us his take on Michael's
situation...

Book excerpt http://www.courttv.com/archive/store/dunne_book1_excerpt.html

Here's a cool "old school" shot of Dominick kickin' it freestyle at the famed Stork
Club back in the '50's.

In the B block we'll do more Jacko legal "slice and dice" with Pat Lalama from Court
TV, Defense attorney Bruce Barron and another prosecutor type tbd...

In the D block Shuster will do a package on gay marriage and then PA Republican
Senator Rick Santorum will tell us why a constitutional amendment is necessary to
preserve the traditional notion of marriage...

That'll lead us into the E block where we'll debate where gay marriage is headed
legally...Will it spread to other states? Will it hit the U.S. Supreme Court?

In the F block we'll roll a clip from Hillary reminiscing on JFK's
assassination....Tomorrow's show btw, will be a re-air of JFK: The Day That Changed
America http://www.msnbc.com/news/987494.asp

Under pressure to respond to the Supreme Judicial Court's decision on gay marriage,
