IMHO this is exactly what is going onthe article does not say VistA
is the culpritit's just the messenger...the real message is that
VistA is the canary in the coal mine as far as the rest of the health
system is concerned. Just imagine what the situation is like everywhere

No you are not missing anything. What you get when you install anything
other than the VA demo version is what you see. There are no patients or
organizational entities etc. The next step is really a long journey
you have to configure the system and that is not well documented.
