I finally got it.  Thanks for the info!  The G.GROUPNAME syntax had me
stumped for a while.

This reply comes to you from OpenForum, which is running MailMan.
MailMan does support both public and private mail groups. For this demo
I set up a group containing my openforum address, one of my other email
addresses, [EMAIL PROTECTED], and your med.va.gov address. I'll send this to
that group... 
and to [EMAIL PROTECTED] 
(I'm not sure whether the list will take a message from my non-member 
openforum address.)
The mailman menus include help to explain all this to you and should 
be sufficient to make it work.
