I think I can guess how you are set up. The only way to access a VistA server over the Internet that I know of is if it is outside the fire wall. When you have your router connected instead of connecting directly to your modem, you are inside a firewall and do not have a routable IP. Most

My router uses the term DMZ to indicate a computer 'outside the firewall.' It means that any signal that would otherwise be blocked is automatically sent to the DMZ computer. You might have a problem if your computer gets a new IP address from the router every time it boots up (i.e. dynamic IP
