I was reviewing some of the criteria documents here,

and found that so much of it is pretty brand new - witness this

Yesterday, CCHIT announced 18 EHR software systems that were certified. I
though VOE was going through this certification process and that's why the
release was delayed a year. Does anyone know why VOE did not make it on this

Regarding CCHIT certification for VOE, a July 10, 2006 article at
http://www.modernhealthcare.com/article.cms?articleId=40529 had the
following to say:
Dal Molin [WorldVista's project manager for VOE] said another goal is to
have a VOE version capable of passing the EHR certification process
Does anybody know if the VA or CMS will seek CCHIT certification for VistA?
