I have a book that appears to be 52 [i.e. 104] p. Unfortunately it is
missing the first 27 [i.e. 54] pages including the title page. My guess is
that it dates from the early 19th century (?) and may have been printed in
Northern or Central Europe.

books. Neither Rachel nor I said that anyone should keep these books in

As I said, I would be more than happy to receive any donation of old
children's books. I would add them to our growing collection set off
thanks to the Zipperstein Collection donated to Arizona State University
couple of years ago. We have children's books
I look at these books and the historical value seems
obvious to me. Equally clear is my own cringing every
time I receive a donation of books (far too often.) I
would love to donate books. Instead of saying please
donate them, please offer the names of real
organizations that would appreciate
