A social studies teacher here showed me a new textbook that he had
received for review. It is called Traditions and Encounters: a
global perspective on the past , edited by Bentley and Ziegler and
published by McGraw Hill. (AP edition). It shows a map of Israel
and Phoenicia on page 38

A couple of years ago, there was a hasafran message about sending
Jewish materials to prisons for Jewish prisoners. That's where I've
been sending my books (though I have to say I've never heard back
from them that they received the
boxes).
I've sold some to interested Judaic booksellers, had book sales, but
given most of them to Jewish Prisoners

However, when I say most, I really haven't made a dent in my
deselection and we desperately need space on our shelves for newer
